Wilfred Ndidi has said the Super Eagles must beat South Africa to get their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign back on track.
The Super Eagles are yet to record a win in Group C after recording just two points from their opening two games.
Finidi George’s side will host Bafana Bafana in a matchday three encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday.

Anything short of a win in the game could mar the team’s chances of making it to the mundial.
Finidi stated that they must give their all to beat the visitors.
“Nobody needs to tell us that we did not start the campaign well enough. The opportunity has arisen to take our fate in our hands and rise to strong contention in our pool. We will approach Friday’s encounter with the right mental attitude,” Ndidi told thenff.com.
The encounter will kick-off at 8pm Nigeria time.

CSN, Why are you people like this??
Hehn! Why do insist on showing your backwardness to the entire world at every opportunity that you get?? “CONDEMNED TO”
Don’t you realise that though it can be conceived for use in a very retarded way, there is absolutely no need to continue trying to use these types of expressions because as already mentioned, it is a retarded usage and just counter-intuitive!
There are more immediate and direct links to the word “condemned” and more immediate and direct links to the expression that you are trying to convey for you to insist on going back into the 18th or 19th century to pull out usage for words that are not even warranted to be used in the modern context, abegi now! Kai!
Which way Nigeria?? Who do una like this ke??
Why do you insist on using these, retarded English words? Abi dem swear for una ni?
Even Oyibo man wey get him language self no dey use all this 18th century English words anymore but una wey no know “nuffing” go dey wan blow BIG BIG English and meanwhile all you’re doing is serious “tabon” all the time –
What in the world is to be “condemned” to do a good thing?? Why can’t you just use the English jejely and stop forcing – trying to pull out BIG words wey them don stop to dey use since after Shakespeare kicked the proverbial and left this terra firma – Chaii! Na wah for una for CSN in locum and 9ja in general o!
Are you sure all these boys repping you went to school at all??
I have been noticing A LOT of irresponsible and quite frankly embarrassing “Scud Missiles” in your headlines lately and I mean more than is even usual? Wetin happen na? Una employ some fresh olodo grads ni? abi una just dey drop guard? Abi the proof reading machine break ni? Or the guy wey dey proof read for una dey on strike too????Kaii!
