The names of the invited players was posted on the Super Eagles X handle on Thursday.
Bayer Leverkusen England-born star Nathan Tella got his first call-up to the Super Eagles.

While Kelechi Iheanacho, Sadiq Umar, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface, Taiwo Awoniyi and Terem Moffi complete the squad.

Still very thin in the mid-field area.
Goalkeeping department still kind of empty.
Should not have invited Collins and Umar. Should have used those slots to beef-up the mid-field department.
Orban have goals in him, regardless and should have been given a chance.
Exactly. I don’t understand those 2. They, along with 1 or 2 of the goalkeepers, are taking up the spaces of other quality replacements waiting on the wings.
Not sure this coach will last. Ghana is about to sack their own Chris Houghton too for similar average showings and not so impressive results.
THIS IS WHAT PEOPLE ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT. WHY PASEIRO ALWAYS USE TO INVITING BENCH WARMER, INCONSISTENT, IRREGULAR PLAYERS TO SUPER EAGLE TEAM.
** WHAT IS THE BUSINESS OF MADUKA-OKOYE WHEN WE HAVE ADELEYE(A CONSISTENT GOALKEEPER IN ISRAEL)
** WHAT IS THE BUSINESS OF SADIQ-UMAR IN THAT TEAM, WHEN WE HAVE BETTER POTENTIAL PERFORMANCE PLAYERS LIKE ORBAN, AKPOM, DESSERS.
INFACT, IT IS VERY OBVIOUS THAT PASEIRO IS USING FAVOURISM IN SELECTING PLAYERS.
By the time I remove all the non performin players in my team eagles wil. Be noba1 in Africa.. orban ,oguh tella wil be in my team.. I just want the old guys to have there way .. if u notice iwobi legs is getting weak on the ball and some of my guys are 30years .so no prob
Fair enough but that saudiq needs to do much more well, I don’t fancy his slowness and sluggishness with ball on his legs.
@Tony, Oban will come in later, he was just cleared about few days ago by caf, I guess pesiro must have submitted his list before the news came
Why is Sadiq Umar there? Tella marketed himself into the Super Eagles The squad is too loaded eith attsckers
Even the list of the friendly matches is far better than this. I have no further comment to make than to say good luck.
Good team . Players like kelechi, Moses, tella, Terem can also play from the midfield while they can also score goals too. The coach should make good use of kelechi and lookman as playmakers. These two players are very intelligent and creative. Thank God Pesero said it today that Ademola is more comfortable as a supporting center than playing from the wings.
I count on Awo and Boniface to put the goals behind the post. I don’t thin Dele Bashiru is in the plan of the coach , but I foresee Tella gate crashing into the team .
I hope prior to the Zimbabwe game we don’t have injury, red card in that midfield department which looks thin and vulnerable. In my opinion five midfielders would have made more sense than four.Any of Ifeanyi Matthew,Obinna Nwobodo and the mercurial Alhassan Yusuf should have been part of the team.
Good list nonetheless,good-luck super eagles!
I prefer any of Akor Adams,Chiba Akpom or Gift Orban to Sadiq Umar.
Sadiq is balancing the Northern and Musa quota.
Another one spotted.
Osigoal is missing due to recovering from injury and yet he leave out Orban, he also left Jordan out but has a place for Collins is amazing. Huh this list is annoying honestly speaking.
I prefer any of Gift Orban,Akor Adams or Chuba Akpom
The fact that he invited Uzoho again beats my imagination o, has the coach wondered why Uzoho have not broken into his club first eleven.
Why is he using other goalkeepers as experimented animals in the camp?
There should be a standard for inviting players in the same way clubs take player selection serious.
IF PESSEIRO LIKE PUT UZOHO IN ALL THE MATCHES WE GO SEE!
@CYRILL the coach definitely thinks he knows the best, even better than people that have been working with Uzoho on a daily basis and he constantly disrespect the opinion of millions of Nigerians thinking that he is almighty, i just hope he gets a satisfactory result at the end. but for me i am done until further notice
*Bright Osayi-Samuel
*Bruno Onyeamechi
* Raphael Onyedika
*Nathan Tella
* Victor Boniface….
Others are Rohr’s/Eguavoen boys.
Paseiro is somehow lazy o. He doesn’t want to stress himself at all. So, Torunarigha wasn’t a good addition? Orban Scored Hat Trick today and I thought now is the opportunity to cap him fully ahead of Togo.
The team is not bad but seriously, Paseiro is so predictable. Next list, Sadiq or Moffi will be out for Osimhen, Tella will be out for Chukwueze and Onyedika will be out for Ndidi then 4-2-4 or 4-4-2 formation . it’s as easy as that. The man is so Lazy.
…then Collins is standing in for Zaidu and Sadiq is in for Musa.
Las las the new faces will be Osayi-Samuel, Onyeamechi and Boniface.
Gbam. @Sean, that’s just his blueprint 100%. The man no dey wan stress himself at all. I say this coach is bang average.
Once some players have recovered from injury, he’ll just do sorting and replacement. Plus and minus of the placeholders. No surprises for Afcon and no plan to find a quality goalkeeper.
No hope for other quality players people are clamoring for. The guy has finalised his predictable list.
Team selection should be predictable when it is selected without bias. We all know who and who of our players deserve selection based on qualities and current forms. The list of players invited to me is fine . We can’t all have our players on the list, the Touringha you clamor for is below those invited at the back besides when he was in his prime form he rejected the patriotic call to feature for super eagles until Germany was no longer sure for him.I think since the coach took over he has invited more than 7 new players into the team. Apart from isoro who people call uzoho and This tall Sociadal player the rest are okay. The coach knows 80 percent of the players going to Nations cup. Tella might get crash but Bashiru is not going unless he is far better than the present midfield.
With unnecessary rigidity on goalkeeper invitations and closing the door of opportunity to better keepers and insistence of Uzoho, am sorry to say, Nigerians are going no where in this competition in jan
This list looks like a list of 75% hardworking players and 25% godfathered players put together by a group of corrupt and cofused systems. All the three GKs are only good for third or 4th GK position. Uzoho has played more matches for SE than for his club in the past 12 months. Okoye was not considered for a bench role in second division Watford, got loaned to Udinese and still not consider a good fit for the position. The national team has now turned to a rehabilitation center of lazy otondobaskets. Adeleye pulled more saves in the only match he started in goal than Uzoho has done in the last 3 matches, yet he is nor considered for selection..
Fisayo showed great promise in the friendly match, rather than boost his confidence they dump him. How about having 5 midfielders with Fisayo in the team. Wha’s the essence of 8 defenders. How about Alhassan Yusuf, who has performed better with a champions league goal in recent game.
Why Umar and not Adams of Montpelier
I’ll still give Pesseiro a chance to correct this abnormalities before AFCON. Though he still has my support, it’s just than I can’t stand this madness. Get inactive Uzoho and Okoye out of the national team.
Since NFF and the gaffer have no good intentions for our country, Nigeria is gone under our oppressors. All I can say is good luck to Super Eagles. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
“…Uzoho has played more matches for SE than for his club in the past 12 months….”
October 2022 to October 2023
Club – 22 matches
National team – 6 matches
Dr. Drey. Vintage Dr. Drey. What a comment and what a stats. That cancelled that submission. Probably that guy did not know that Dr. Drey is in the forum (laugh).
He gave aribo another chance. Maybe because of his performance in the last friendly and also his experience.
But badhiru and tourighja really pained me. Or are they not getting game time.
Akor Adams will get his chance. Let him do more with his club.
We need to give orban a chance in this team. He is a type of player that I believe can produce goals out if nothing. Though not yet tested with the team but we need to get him in as fast as possible.
Goal keepers hmmm. Where is the noise from owngoal about nwabsli? Why is adelyee not getting the chance. Probably the coach does not like his face and his heights. Some coaches don’t like short gial keepers. It was like that with westerhof . He said he loves tall and ugly coaches.
But uzoho and okoye.. hmmn I fear.
Happy to see tella and nwaziem.
Sodiq??? Is this another slot for the north? I have Lost hope on sodiq.
Not really a bad list. We wish eagles well.
Uzoho has played more matches for Super Eagles than his club in a season year.
Uzoho has started more matches for Nigeria than for his club current season. The fact is that it us shame on anyone who supports a crooked action like this.
Uzoho has not started a single match in current season year. I insist he has played more matches for Nigeria than his club this season year.
If Uzoho is finding it really hard to start a single match for a club below top 500 club in the World. Even some Adrican clubsides rank better.
Hahahaha….”…Uzoho has played more matches for SE than for his club in the past 12 months….”
oga don quickly rephrase….LMAOoo
Continue rolling out your fiction…..LMAOoo.
Which one is season year again….?? LMAOoo
What is the difference between whoever supports Uzoho’s invitation and you who continuously advocate for Osigwe’s call-up…..LMAOoo. The Sebastine Osigwe you always rant about here that he must be taken to AFCON, how many matches has he played for his club since April this year when he last played a match in anger…..?
Adebayo Adeleye your Israeli messiah who has only flatters to deceive in national team colours, how many has he played this season? He has not kicked any ball in anger since September and swallowed an average of 2 goals per match in the 5 matches he has played this season.
Omonia Nicosia is currently ranked 103 on the UEFA rankings, the highest-ranked club of any eligible SE GK anywhere in the world (maybe apart from Udinese.)
Go and swallow otapiapia now that you’ve seen him on the SE list of call-ups.
Peter Rufai played more matches for Nigeria in 1994 than he played for his club.
Vincent Enyeama played more matches for Nigeria in 2011 than he played for his club
Ike Shorunmu played almost an equal number of matches for both club and country in the 99/00 season.
Let us know when you are done hanging yourself because Uzoho has played more matches for Nigeria than his club in 2023….LMAoooo
Once again

One day, Nigerians will learn to understand that you dont make wholesome changes to a national team.
We have a World Cup qualifier on a Thursday, players will arrive Monday and Tuesday, and real full-housed tactical training will only take place on Wednesday, yet they want wholesome changes with players who have never played competitively with the squad before.
Some people think football in real life is like the computer games they play. Thank God most of you are no where near our national teams.
No mind them bro, The way some people criticize any list from this coach is so alarming. The fact remains that apart from Victor Boniface, I haven’t seen any of these new additions to the SE that’s better than the players we have before.
Agree.
But you also don’t keep inviting a failure repeatedly to camp in the hope that by some miracle, he would become a great keeper.
Uzoho has absolutely NO business in the national team. Absolutely none. This is a guy, as rightly pointed out, that has yet to start a game for his clubside in almost a year. For a Cypriot team! Even when Okoye was benchwarming at Watford, he was excused from the national team. But not this guy.
How many school boy errors does he have to make before it gets thru Pissario’s dumb brain that the guy needs to be excused from the national team to get himself right?
Anyhow, its the imbeciles that employed him that are responsible for this mess.
What about Sadiq Umar? 0 goals all season. Meanwhile, Gift Urban 8 goals in 8 games. Jerome Akor 7 goals in 10 games. But pitiful Sadiq Umar, who stunk up the joint just last month, gets the nod? I mean, how stupid can this coach be??
Go and kick Uzoho out of the team na, since you have a business in who gets invited into the SE and who doesn’t.
The Schoolboy errors of the likes of Ike Shorumu and Vincent Enyeama too in the national team are well documented, it didnt make them failures neither did it stop them from rising to become greats
I concur completely. Making that wholesome change can cause problems. I believe others will get their chances.
I dey look this beans ooo. E never soft yet. Hmmmm.
Any assurance say this beans go done by the time Afcon reach?
Hahaha, ride on Peseiro. It’s your time.
But if you fail, hen hen hen, remember that FAILURE IS AN ORPHAN!
Tread cautiously, Jose. Tread cautiously.
Would have loved to see Orban on this list. Perhaps the idea is to try him in a friendly before a competitive game. After all, the upcoming games against Lesotho and Zimbabwe are WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS. Perhaps, Jose is not willing to risk trying a new player in this circumstance.
Having said that, Orban needs to be capped asap, one way or the other. Togo are patiently waiting in the wings and will gladly grab him.
Goal keeper Rasheed should have been invited to show what he can do, this list is fraudulent with the inclusion of all this GK. Collins is only coming to warm the bench why not give Jordan that slot. Umar is out of form why not take Akpom or Orban? This is NFF list seriously speaking!!!
It’s not NFF list,Umar was very good in the last friendlies. He was skilful and had good understanding with his teammates only failed to score, but his performances wasn’t disappointing though he’s not at his best yet but showed promise.
Akpom will get his chance. The coach cannot risk having two or more new attackers in a World Cup qualifier it’s too much of a risk.
He took Collins because he wants to have two defenders in each position in the case of injuries.Collins is not new to the team so the idea is it use players that have worked together in the last few months or year, then fresh players will have their chances when camping resumes for the Afcon.
For the goalkeepers,I think aside that howler against Saudi Arabia Uzoho had a good game, the coach saw a good net minder in Uzoho and wants to build his confidence. The Udinese goalkeeper Okoye played a game for his club recently and did well besides he must have been impressive in the last FIFA windows. The likes of Rasheed needs proper assessment and the upcoming games is too important to risk that probably get his chance when we resume camping for the nations cup.
You need to go rewatch the games as this guy was piss poor and was out of sync with his colleagues.
I really don’t know what Nigerians see in him, to be honest. No pace, lazy player, never tracks back to help the midfield or defence and is always trying to dribble his way when a simple pass to an open teammate would have been the intelligent option.
The guy simply does not fit into the philosophy of this team.
Entirely your opinion dude..Umar did well in the friendly against Mozambique, though not playing at optimum yet, largely due to a lengthy injury layoffs.Mind you Orban was on a poor run before the list was made so his hat trick fit came a little late but surely in the radar of the gaffer if he continues with the form of last night.
My only concerns is the number in the midfield,i was of the opinion of an additional midfielder to bring the numbers to 5 just in the case of injuries or other unforseen circumstances that may arise.Other than that a very good roster.
The dumbkoffs running the NFF and Pissario want Nigerians to believe that Umar is currently better than Urban or Akor or Akpom? I mean, seriously?
Also, isn’t this the time to critically review the likes of Rasheed or Okonkwo as possible options for the Nations Cup (which begins in about 11 weeks)?
How stupid can these people be???
How do one explain that Akor Adams with 7 ligue 1 goals (2nd to Mbape) was left out and Moffi with 3 ligue 1 goals and Sadiq with no la liga goal were invited?
Akor Adams is the second Nigerian with most goals in the top 5 leagues this season, and he wasn’t invited.
How many goals did Ako scored against PSG and you comparing him with Moffi nonsense
1. Calvin Bassey has been poor for us. He doesn’t deserve to be in there atm. I’ll still take either of Ekong or Balogun over him. I don’t know what Sanusi has to do to return into the team, well Onyemaechi has been great for us.
2. This uninvestment in our midfield will continue to cost us. Even if it’s Fisayo that’ll be there again, it’s better . I don’t know what this coach’s glueing with 442 is. I don’t get. You don’t have creative midfielders, your wingers can’t cross properly and you’re playing 442. With two pure strikers again. Who does that? Huh? We have players who can do well in the 10 position in 4231 formation. Lookman, and Iheanacho (in 352) and even Tella can do great there. I’ll love to see us in 352 also.
3. For the 100th time, what are we doing with 5 strikers? What is Sadiq Umar doing there????? Boniface and Awoniyi are pure 9s. What does Moffi bring to the team that Iheanacho doesn’t?
4. Who’s the leader in this team? It is well.
I love Dr. Drey’s and his football understanding. We are so lucky to have him on this forum. No room for false claims and analysis. You can’t just get away with it, here. So, if you have to make a false claim, remember Dr. Drey. Again, if you are in doubt why the coach invited this or that player, read his comments.
Peseiro committed big error that he dump Fasiyo Bashiru and Orban from the Super Eagles roster ; also the great error that he still trusts in flopped and shaky Uzoho and Okoye he should to.dump them out then he should summon Aniagbosso and Jonathan Rasheed instead of Uzoho and Okoye; also the other error he committed was that he summoned four midfielders only and summoned eight center defenders , he should have to increase the midfield like to summon other strong defensive midfielder like Anderson Esiti or Ifeanyi Matthew, in attack he should have to dump Sadiq Umar instead to him he can summon Orban; Peseiro should change his tactic and formation to 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2 if he would like to stregthen the midfield and defence, bu 4-4-2 is less defensive than the tow above mentioned formation, Zimbabwe could be dengerous versus Super Eagles , so Peseiro must look after these technical arrays to organize them before World Cup qualifiers tow fixtures versus Lethoto and Zimbabwe in 16 and 19 november 2023.
I wonder why people are always expecting a complete overhaul whenever a list comes out? Obviously, most of these players are about 80% Rohrs team. Let’s not forget that Iheanacho and Iwobi were only 21 when they started playing under Rohr. Moreover, they both got their debut under Oliseh who was a colossal failure.
Most of our players under Rohr from the end of 2016 to the WorldCup in 2018 are currently the spine of the SuperEagles. No sane coach who wants results will replace them with new and untested players baring Injuries or loss of form.
Some players will probably play their last games for the SuperEagles after this window. The gaffer is already preparing his team for the AFCON tournament. Therefore, I don’t expect him to be making wholesome changes at this point in time.
The likes of Bruno, Osayi Samuel, Raphael Onyedika, Victor Boniface have all made their debuts under him. And now Tella is been given a chance. That’s 5 new players within a year. How many coaches can do that? He met a team on ground. Even Westerhoff inherited a great team during his era. The spine of his team were mostly players from Maroc 88.
I like the list whoever messes up will surely kiss the team goodbye. I wish them all the best. 6 points against Lesotho and Zimbabwe is non negotiable. I only worry about the goalkeepers, but I think Maduka is coming back to his best if he can get some games under his belt for Udinese.
You forgot Jordan and Dele-Bashiru… that’s 7 new players.
You’re right 7 new players within a year that’s commendable. If we include Gift Orban though he hasn’t made his debut, but he called him up before. I’m even certain that Alhasan Yusuf will make his debut under him. He’s doing the best he could with the players available to him. It’s impossible for any coach to discard the entire team since Rohr left.
Rohr built a team for Nigeria that are on their way to start giving Nigeria glory if we put our administrative side in order. Peseiro is the one to cash out with this team if he can bring out the best in them. Rohrs only issue was due to his conservative stance which actually gave us results, but not entertaining enough according to the media and some sections of fans.
Anyway it’s a new dawn the fact still remains that both Rohr and Peseiro are not different. I just prefer a foreign coach to handle the SuperEagles than all these Egua, Oliseh and co who are only riding on 94 sense of entitlement.
Hehehehe…they want Peserio to discard the team because they are “Rohr Boys” and start reassembling another squad all together…LMAOoo. I have never seen a backward thinking people. Even Rohr built on what he inherited from the previous teams that couldn’t qualify for AFCON back-to-back and turned them into a team that almost won the trophy in the next attempt.
That is why our age grade football progression has seemingly stalled….every coach wants to use “his boys” so that his glory will not be given to another person.
All these noise makers still dont know the import of chemistry and continuity in national team football.
Because Akor has scored more goals in Ligue 1 than Moffi, he should be invited ahead of Moffi, so that Peserio will spend the whole of the international break teaching Akor the same things he has been teaching Moffi for almost 2 years now.
Term Moffi, Joe Aribo and Sadiq Umar should not have been on that list… in their place I will name Jerome Akor, Chuba Akpom, and Al hassan Yusuf. I can still see NFF dictating some of this players to Jose Peseiro. I know Peseiro is big on Chuba Akpom.
Terem Moffi can’t be picked ahead of Akor on current form,Joe Aribo is not Super Eagles midfield quality… brings not but just lack lustre to average performance in Super Eagles… There is nothing a player like Aribo can do against Ghana, Cameroon ,Morocco and Senegal Midfield.
Players like Ifeanyi Matthew, Obinna Nwobodo should be allowed to show what they can bring to the SE midgield, while the trio of Damien Daga/Onuche Ogbelu/Toochukwu Nnadi should start slowly being integrated into the SE fold.
Na your type Dr Drey dey refer to. Your football knowledge hasn’t increased since 2022 I’ve been reading your messages.
2021 rather
@Legendary… you are welcomed to throw down a challenge to me regarding Nigeria and world football.
On this forum, immediately after 2023 U-20 World Cup, I mentioned here that the midfielders Nnadi,Ogbelu(even though he was axed from the world cup rather strangely even though it was his work in midfield during the Afcon qualifiers that got us the ticket) and Akinsanmiro, as well as Daga can begin to test the waters in SE.
Guy, if you have played some good level of football, you know a player when you see one touch the ball three times and move, you know a player when you spot confidence and composure and grit. It did not take me long to know that Toochukwu Nnadi was that most mature and effective player in that recent U-20 squad. Imagine Aribo who can’t even command a regular shirt in a championship team getting callups ahead of real talents like Akpom. Ajax don’t sign average one game flukes.
Werder Bremen has agreed a price to snap him in January. Ogbelu went straight to starting games for Esperence of Tunis once signed. Bro… I know football, and will repeat, Aribo is subpar, Sadiq as of now does not deserve his spot if not for WAZOBIA… and Akor should have been in for Moffi. That’s how you reward performance and encourage healthy competition in SE.
I’m not saying the players you mentioned aren’t good. Are we now going to test run them in WCQs???
Should there be an overhaul every break? Because of supposed form? Team cohesion comes first above temporary form abeg.
This week it’s Adams, next time it’s orban, another time it’s Akpom, is this play station???
Dr Drey (pHD, complete sports analysis) had this to say to you lol
One day, Nigerians will learn to understand that you dont make wholesome changes to a national team.
We have a World Cup qualifier on a Thursday, players will arrive Monday and Tuesday, and real full-housed tactical training will only take place on Wednesday, yet they want wholesome changes with players who have never played competitively with the squad before.
Some people think football in real life is like the computer games they play. Thank God most of you are no where near our national teams.
I don’t have much qualm with the list.
Not much of a surprise.
We should understand that the National team is quite different to the clubsides. Every national team coach has his players and due to limited time, it is quite a daunting task to keep bring in new players thereby fluctuating with an understanding unit. Especially when you’re playing crucial games like a world cup qualifier.
Yes Akor is in form. But is it really wise to test him in a world cup qualifier? He is relatively just 8 or 10 games-in in a top league. Moffi we know. We have seen what he can do in the national team. I believe Akor and definitely Orban would get their chance as long as they keep doing what they do best. Perform in the highest calibre.
My only worry is his continual trust in Umar and Uzoho. Both haven’t been in the best of forms and should have been replaced. I just came to the conclusion that these duo are people he(Peseiro) already worked with and he believes in them; case in point ,Southgate’s continual call up of Henderson and his persistent use of Maguire totallt ignoring Tomori, until recently. These drives most of the English fans mad.
For now, we wait and see what is next and wish the Eagles well. I believe the invited players are good enough to beat Lesotho and Zimbabwe as long we get our game and head right.
I am really scared, I don’t have much confidence in Peseiro because of the way we concede goals since he took over and he can’t fix that yet… I wish he can prove us his doubters wrong and surprise us with something magnificent this Month. We are blessed with stars no doubt. We can’t just afford to miss this coming world cup with 10 slots for Africa. I still believe we can get a good goal keeper from the Nigerian league.
Umar Sadiq is the new Ahmed Musa naaa!! lols.
No all jokes aside everybody on this platform knows I back Sadiq Umar when he is on form and playing regularly however since his nasty injury last season he has not hit the levels I expect of him he is still warming his way back to the team. I would say until then an Akor Adams would have been a much better choice. Had Orban banged in the hatrick he scored last night last week and couple more this week maybe Orban but on current form Akor Adams is the best inform striker in Nigeria now after Osimhen, Boniface and the moment he is even in more form than Awoniyi and Moffi and Outscoring Moffi in French Ligue 1 currently.
Akor has not played any friendly so throwing him into WC qualifiers directly might not be right even though he would make more sense than Umar. He should have invited him during the last friendly window, you see eh our coach and football admin are mafias if you understand what I mean that is why you’ll see Collins especially on this list and not see a solid player like Jordan. They also refused the fact that Bassey is not great at CB than his natural LB. I hope we don’t continue failing until Nigerians give up on football.
@Chima E Samuels… I disagree with you on Akor. These players play at a level in their leagues, especially the Top 5 leagues that are higher than the level of matchups between African national teams like Lesotho and Zimbabwe versus Nigeria. I beg to differ… we have so many average players in SE because we make some players so comfortable with consistent invites even though they ain’t performing because of these lame excuses of sticking to players we have seen as opposed to first timers who are in form.. the argument is weak.
That has been your song all these while. “Super Eagles players are very average “ but if they ask you to name the super stars you have on mind, one will be disappointed with names like Nwabali, Akinsanmiro, Nwobodo, Mathew, Nwakali, Junior Ajayi, Daga, Onuche, Ogbelu etc.. those are your super stars. I beg leave Paseiro alone. God no go gree make person like you become coach self.
No sensible coach, playing the 4231 or 433 system, SE is adopting will invite Akor ahead of Moffi. Akor a good player though but definitely not better than Moffi except maybe Moffi plays with his left foot while he Akor is right footed. Lol.
Moffi has better control in tight spaces, good dribbling skills, scores from outside the box as well as inside, works out his own attacking forays after fighting and winning balls while Akor needs players to pass balls to him while making the runs. Unfortunately for players like Akor, African teams are the most selfish in terms of space for attackers to manipulate. You must be really good with tightest of space to play African team. This is where strikers like Onuachu, Owobukiri, Akpoborire, Ejeh etc struggled. And I seriously doubt Akor will be any different. He is made for club football. Hopefully someday, he proves me wrong. Any striker that scores 80% of their goals from inside the 6yard box will surely struggle in the national team colours. This is why many are finding it hard to trust in Awo baba.
As for the list, it’s easy to see some political influence regarding certain invitations. Left to me, Uzoho, who is at the wrong side, psychologically should not be trusted with the goal keepers duty. That is not to say he is a bad keeper. But he is going through a lot at the moment and should have been allowed to regain his confidence. Okoye coming from his last game with Udinese should be in a better frame, so inviting him makes lot of sense. Then this guy Rasheed should have been invited in place of Uzoho. At least that will offer us a chance to have a closer look at him. Then my other questions is, what is the need for Collins, when we already have Bassey, and onyemachi. Torunariga, could have easily be a better option as he can slot in at left back as well as centre back. Also Ola Aina can also slot in at left back if need be. So what’s the point inviting a player like Collins who is only good at left back.
These external influences are sure going to ruin things for Peseiro n nigeria if something is not done to stop it. That was how it started with Rohr until he lost his grip on the team. May God in HIS MERCIES deliver Nigeria for self destruction.
Shut up there @Glory… what are your metrics for saying Moffi is better than Akor? Go sidon… Akor is taller and stronger than even Osimhen. That guy stands at 193cm… go see his goals this league season so far. He drops Moffi anyway in ball control… guy check your facts. Some of you don’t even watch the lives games at their club… just relying on CSN updates.
Glory has crowned it all. The arguments suppose end now.
@ Jimmyball I am not surprised at your response. I would rather have been surprised if you hadn’t as you would have proven a strong willed despite a very very long standing very dry dinning table. But sorry bro, your jibes won’t change my stance.
Akor Adams has 7goals in 4 Matches while Moffi has 3 goals in 2 matches. Moffi strikes me like a Chukwueze player gives his all in big games against strong opponents but can’t keep the same Intensity against lessor opponents. in club football the mark of a star player is consistency and Akor adams is showing that more than Moffi.
Those of you chastising invitation of Moffi are not honest, Moffi deserves his invitation even though he has less goals than Jerome. What we should be complaining about is the addition of legelege Umar who can not even hold the ball or shoot like a serious footballer, and also why must he invite all two error prone goalies at once when he can only choose one btw them and give a chance to Rasheed or another new goalie until he finds the right goaltender. I’m also against the invitation of Collins when Bruno and Aina is on the list. He should not joke with Orban because that boy has fire in him even when off form. The list is not a perfect one even though we will win the two matches because these players(Umar, Collins and Maduka) he invited them just to bench them.
absolutely on point here Comrade Chima on the goalies…it’s obvious He will play Uzoho, i’m fully aware this is world cup qualifier and you need those who are part of the system already an additional may not understand how the system works. But, i would rather prefer a third goalie to be the Rasheed, let him start understanding the system and integration into the team…all the while you have been inviting adeleke, he has never been tested or used. the slot can be given to a seemly good goalie to always get understanding of the team. if Uzoho got injured in the game, obviously, you will call okoye, what if okoye also got injured? a Raheed for me would been better than the third person on the list…
Exactly and to think that the Rasheed also has Sweden as option is dangerous to be continually ignored. Make God sha help us.
What makes you very optimistic of Nigeria winning the two games?
If we don’t win these two matches then what are we going to do at WC?
Zimbabwe have a very strong team you know? They also play as a unit.We should show respect to our opponents, plan very well towards reaching our goals.
Be cognizant of the fact that seniour world cup qualifiers are always very difficult games, and Nigeria are not known for winning all their games in qualifiers. We shall drop points so be prepared for it.
Does Morocco and Senegal have better football credentials than us that they can do a clean sweep but we always having to drop points to any Tom and Dick? Although I get your point that is why dropping point to teams like SA will be the only reasonable one but not against Zim and the rest bottom teams in Africa. Not underrating them but it will be unreasonable for us to be dropping points to these teams that Senegal takes time to hammer them…
Well, the list is good but why shoud he ommit Orban,Akpom,Jordan,Rasheed and even Dessers well i wish them success and am happy for Tella in the team cus he has played with Aribo and Boniface at club level and nw he will adapt so easily at national team
Chaii… The list is Ok, even if Paseiro change the whole team today, there’ll still be some fans here that will want to cause riot.
Seriously.. if Paseiro can maintain this team and probably start introducing new formations or style of play, I won’t complain. My headache is that this man is too predictable. A good coach will easily watch our tapes and win the match. Equatorial Guinea did it recently. I’m very happy about Tella in particular. He’s the next thing close to Chukwueze. But seriously, some fans here need to be calming down. After the existence of players like Indidi, Onyeka, Onyedika, Iwobi, Aribo (that can play two to 3 roles), Alhassan Yusuff is very much in Paseiro’s plan we all know that some funny names are still coming up from fans like Esiti, Ifeanyi Matthew, Nwobodo even the under 20s Ogelu, Daga, Onuche, Akinsanmiro etc to come and do what? How many of inter Milan’s reserve team matches are you people watching? How many of FC Zurich games are you watching, which club is Esiti playing for? Do you people know that Tella and Akpom that’s already on Paseiro’s plans can also play from midfield? Apart from Rasheed, how many foreign goal keeper can play our next game? Okonkwo? Atubolu? Goodman? . The likes of Nwabili, Adeleye, Aniangboso were once in camp but they were all behind Uzoho and Okoye on any match day. At this point, May be we should all calm down and allow the coach to work. 7 players and some home based that played the first two friendlies including a guy from Portugal that plays from the wings….more than 10-12 players had been tried under Paseiro but May be they are not as good as the ones on ground. As a fan that love new challenge , I too will love to see names like Akpom, Adams, Orban, Atubolu, Okonkwo, Rasheed etc but it’ll surely happens gradually. Boniface was once outside the team but now he’s here. My only concern is the coach’s approach to every game which is predictable.
I was hoping those bigots masquerading as advocates of younger players would raise this issue….but since they have not, I will.
The fact that nobody is even talking about Igho Ogbu is rather sad. This boy frustrated Romelu Lukaku last night and he’s been so consistent in the Europa League. Strong, pacy and highly technical player.
But since Kenneth Omeruo is not a Muslim northerner, he is not blocking the path of younger players. If he were to be a Kabir Oumar from Jigawa state, 30 yrs old and blowing hot and cold in national team colours, I am sure the situation would be different.
Lol…you enh, you like wahala
@Dr.Drey… Kenneth Umeruo is active at his club. Can same be said about Musa and Sadiq these days? Be honest. Meanwhile you have to know neither Semi Ajayi nor Calvin Bassey is better than Kenneth Umeruo still.
He cunningly wants to use Musa’s long layoff now as an excuse to smokescreen his bigotry…LMAOooo. Please try again later.
Has Ahmed Musa been inactive in his club since close to 3 now when you and your fellow bigots have been scheming for him to be kicked out of the national team….? He even had to force the cancellation of his contract and the mad money he was earning in Saudi to return to Europe when the rabble-rousing became too much.
Or was Ighalo inactive in his club when y’all embarrassed him out of the national team because you supposedly have younger players…??
Or was Ekong also inactive when y’all cooked up all sorts of allegations against him (even when video evidences show otherwise) because you supposedly have “younger players.
No you know your “young bombers” aren’t any tad better than those you forcefully retired for them to get free passes into the national team places they never worked for….LMAooo.
The scales are beginning to fall off their eyes……LMAOooo
You spot on bro. Omeruo decline performance no be today. Some years ago some people jokingly attributed it to his involvement with Oshoola. Again, I think his continuous invitation and other average defenders to the SE was due to our failure to produce enough defenders at youth grade that will get to play at high level.
@Dr.Drey… so if you are given paper to draw up SE list now you will include Musa and Ekong? The thing is… Peseiro knows those two have nothing others in their positions can’t give. Ekong and Musa train has since left the Super Eagles station…
So Omeruo has what others in his position cannot give right….LMAOoo
He apparently isn’t blocking younger players from the fringe status and SE bench he has been rooted to since 2015…LMAOoo…when he’s not a Muslim from the north nor a foreign born biracial kid…LMAOoo
Omeruo recently was named captain of his team he must be doing something good to be given such recognition.
At 30 Omeruo is still very much relevant. He plays well for the national team whenever he was called upon. His experience tenacity when doning the national colours cannot be questioned.Omeruo deserves his place the foreign coach isn’t stupid.
Musa in contrast is a shadow of that pacy explosive forward who was a nightmare to defenders,he has fallen short of quality so much he hardly makes the matchday squad for his team. Most of us here aren’t bigots we want the best for the national team underperforming players must give way for performing ones regardless of age.
HAhahaha…Omeruo plays well for the National team whenever he is called upon…..LMAOoo….please wipe that piece of lie off your lips.
He plays well yet at 30 and a decade in the National team he isnt still a guaranteed starter….? Are you for real…?? Please go back and rewatch his games and come here to tell us he plays well.
It is Musa that doesn’t play well for the national team…? The last time he played he came on in the 2nd half and contributed 4 goals. Does a player because useless simply because he has no pace anymore…? How many times have we seen Omeruo get beaten for pace in recent years…? Sierra Leone’s first goal in Monrovia readily comes to mind.
Was Shehu Abdulahhi playing badly in the national team when yall would cringe whenever you saw his name even on a “Standby List” of invitees for the national team….??
Those ones do not have experience and tenacity, it is Omeruo who stopped being of use to us since after the 2014 world cup that has. Omeruo suddenly plays well simply because he was given the captain band for 1 game….LMAooo. Wonders will never end.
I never knew any of you would one day still come and defend a 30-year-old Turkish league centre-back like this.
Whatever happened to “we have younger players who are better”
Once again, had it been it were to be a muslim northerner, Kabir Oumar from Jigawa state, 30 yrs old and blowing hot and cold in national team colours, I am 1000% sure the tonality would be different.
Abeg turn off your TV on thursday and go watch Benin republic. YEYE agbaya. Nobody dey follow you laugh at your comment. Kindly laugh alone
Ẹranko….you have just managed to find time from your slavery and money to get internet to comment on CSN when everyone else has left the stage abi….LMAOoo.
My laugh is paining you abi….LMAOoo. May it continue to pain you like the eternal fires of hell.
I am not stupid I know a good player when I see one.The same Shehu Abdullahi you’re on about was one of the players I had his back when almost everyone here wanted him out of the team.
Omeruo isn’t as bad as you’re making him just to prove a point. The day Omeruo starts fumbling he won’t get the backing he’s getting now because what we want is result. This ethnic thing is getting boring.Your support for Musa is strange a player who has seen better days at best he should be retiring not because of age rather because of deep in form.
Your support for Omeruo is even stranger…LMAOoo
Omeruo’s better days ended 9 years ago after the 2014 world cup.
There is a reason he has been a fringe player for 9 years.
Even when Ekong and Balogun are no longer there to sit his ass on the bench he still cannot step in to tie down an undisputable starting shirt with competition from weaklings like defensive weaklings like Ajayi and Bassey.
Of course your “we have to younger players” rhetorics doesn’t apply anymore in this instance for obvious hard to deny reasons…LMAOoo
If someone don’t agree with you it becomes a problem. They’re either bigoted or anti Islam.
This is a sports website where people share opinions which may differ a times but we have to argue responsibly.
You also need to have the maturity to accept other people’s opinions and respect them.
Hahahaha….have you run out of excuses to smokescreen your bigotry….LMAOoo.
If there is anywhere I have said anything untrue point it out.
Otherwise, you don’t need to agree with me, not every one agrees with the truth.
For someone who has been a stern advocate of forcefully “retiring old players who are not performing at the level they used to perofnm in their heydays” for younger players, your sudden eulogy of Omeruo at a time when nobody bats an eyelid anylonger if he’s on the bench or not invited outrightly speaks volume.
I don’t care if your ox is gored, I know it hurts, I know its difficult to come to terms with, but the fact remains once again that, had it been it were to be a muslim northerner, a Kabir Oumar from Jigawa state, 30 yrs old and blowing hot and cold in national team colours, I am 1000% sure your tonality would be different, and your antecedents affirm that.
Otherwise, let you voice ring loud the way it has rang, about young defenders like Ogbu, Awaziem and Fredrick whose chances are being blocked by “old” players who have passed their prime according to you.
I think the list is reasonable, good to see a new face in tella, hope he gets some minutes. My only concern is the goal keeping department, maduka and uzoho are not number ones in their clubs and are mostly inactive. It is a risk I guess to play world Cup matches with such prominent weakness. Perhaps, the coach does not want to take such risk as the devil you know is better than the Saint you do not know. However, I think heading to the afcon proper , wholesome changes need to be made. If he insist to die on his sword by sticking to uzoho and okoye then good luck.
To be fair, I am not sure about this coach, which coach in his right mind will continue to use inactive gks but maybe he call more goal keepers for the slug fest before afcon
. Dr Drey also made shout out for igho ogbuh who I think is a good player, hope he will be called up pre afcon. God bless Nigeria!
Igho Ogbu is a quality defender,i’m sure the coach is aware of his performances.
Certainly,he will get his chance soon perhaps he could be that player to retire Kenneth Omeruo or take the place of another player.
As long as we keep the production line moving, super eagles would all the better for it.
…@Greenturf… you have not realised that @Dr.Drey… must have his opinion always accepted by all here? Dude is always ready to shove shit forcibly down the throat of anyone who has a divergent opinion from his, he has minions on this site, who are his praise-singers… If his shit finishes he is ready to borrow more shit from some of these minions, his hypemen… they sit on his lap and stroke his beards and he keeps bleating loudly even when he is sounding like a broken record for warped facts and twisted half-truths here till everyone goes to bed… someone who loves Nigeria Super Eagles and is an advocate for true merit will still say Ahmed Musa should in 2023 continuing getting invites to come and be collecting match bonuses only as non-playing captain. I no blame @Dr.Drey, na Ahmed Musa wey no get shame to respect himself and accept that he is no longer needed in the SE team that I blame. The day an adult does not respect himself… little boys will ask him to follow them on catapult shooting lizard hunt, and hand him bag to help them pick stones for target… lol.
Hahahaha….which one pains you more, the fact that nobody shares your own warped, fake and most times flavourless lies here…or the fact that you no longer have facts to defend your position….? LMAooo.
If it was easy to have hypemen and praise-singers on a platform like this, why have you not had none despite your vehement efforts to shove a fake personality on everyone…..LMAooo…oh, sorry, your pussy cat Kenneth the 3-faced liar like you, is still alive. Sorry, my bad. Pardon that omission….LMAOOo
My shit is what has won me as many praise-singers as the number that pours acid on your heart and burns your liver whenever they praise me and not you. To the point where people from nowhere, people I do not know from adam and who do not know me from adam have even requested I start a website or a blog of my own.
You put your shit out here, lets see how people react….LMAOoo.
If there are half-truths in what I say, you put out your own truths here and let the world judge….oops, that sounds like telling you to trek to the moon and back….LMAOoo
This discussion is not about Ahmed Musa and has never been about Ahmed Musa, so stop looking for an escape route…..LMAOoo, it is about your well documented bigotry.
Kenneth Omeruo is currently not more useful in the SE than Shehu or Musa, he stopped bringing anything special to the table after the 2014 world cup 9 years ago, he only gets to play when Balogun or Ekong is unavailable and still not guaranteed to start now that they both are not here (actually, I have never seen anyone complain, quiver or shiver here before that Omeruo did not start a game or did not get an invite….LMAOOo), not even you….everyone sees him as a just part of the furniture in the SE camp. But he apparently doesn’t seem to be blocking the emergence of younger players like his Muslim northerner peers.
No wonder none of you ever bring his name up amongst those “blocking the progress of younger players” whenever the list of SE invitees are released, even though nobody seems to give a hoot if he plays, sits on the bench or does not get invited at all….LMAOoo
How someone who claims to love the SE in 2023 and doesn’t feel concerned that a player who has remained a fringe player for 9 years still gets called up over a youngster who has been outstanding from U17 to U20 and is currently Nigeria’s best CB in European competitions (frustrating attacking beasts like Romelu Lukaku), beats common sense.
It is when they have nothing to hide their shame anymore they try to hide under the alter of fake altruism and concern for the national team.
For once I am tempted to agree with you, an adult does not respect himself will be direspected by children. It was the likes to Leon and Troost who leashed Omeruo for years in the SE, now the likes of Bassey and Ajayi have come to continue from where the former duo stopped…..LMAOoo. And I am sure to bigots like you, he would still not be blocking the chances of younger players…..LMAOOo.
When a disease is pathological, it is often too difficult to cure.
Yea, I will keep sounding like a broken record so that peace of mind continues to elude folks like you……LMAOoo
Dr Dre, I don’t know why u are talking down omeruo. Have u forgotten how omeruo was so instrumental during 2019 cup of nations . I could remember vividly during one of interview granted to roahr by one Nigeria’s news outlets. He was asked to name a big game player in current supper eagles after he was appointment as coach of benin republic. He quickly mentioned Kenneth omeruo. Dat he is the only defender dat he believed that can rise to the occasion wen called upon in any big matches. And one good thing about omeruo is dat he has better understanding and communication s with any player u paired him with. He has been paid with almost all the defenders in the supper eagles. Can u pair ajayi together with akpoguma or Jordan? Do u know that the pairing of bassey and ajayi is still questionable. There pairing is not quite comfortable any time I watch both of them plays together. There communications is not quite smooth. But I bet u, pair omeruo and bassey together u will notice that the defense will be sort of stable.
I’m not saying omeruo don’t have issues.he is not dat kind of ball playing defender. But he is a player u can count on wen the chiefs are down. He supposed to be yobos replacement but he could not meet up to the expectations. A player of omeruo is like a defender u can use in a match to compliment a defender in the person of vidic . No matter any person u paired him with, he has dat inate abilities to strike an understanding with any one u chooses to paird him with. He may have lost pace but can still compliment it with experience. To me I still prefer omeruo to ekon whether in his prime or not. The only problem I have with omeruo is dat during dieing stages of a match, he always tends to loose concentration expecially if the opposition is searching for an equalizer. Dats wen he always let his team down.
Good head,I’m impressed!Remember when we lose to Equitorial Guinea in the just concluded Afcon qualifiers, our central defence pairing was faulted,Omeruo was introduced in the return fixture which we won by a Moses Simon’s penalty kick.
Omeruo shown in that game,he brought calm to the defence to the point our goalkeeper literally had little to do for the duration of the game. Many times he was called upon he hardly disappoints he’s a very important player in the team,he looks after himself to keep up at this level for so many years.
Besides omeruo can play on both sides of center halve. But his main strength lies on the right side of the central defence. This was the position he played through out 2013 cup of nations Nigeria won. Since then, he rarely gets role on dat right side of central defence. Can ekon, awaziem or ajayi play on the left side of the central? defence (center halve)
Even though Omeruo maybe slow due to age, tends to lose focus in matches and may not know how to deal with crosses whenever he faces his own box, yet I still prefer him to Ajayi. The defensive combo of ajayi-bassey does not inspire confidence.
Umeruo and Awaziem right now are the best we have in central defence… we all have forgotten how the duo of Awaziem/Umeruo helped us beat Cape Verde away in Mindelo. That was the match that won us playoff against Ghana… had been in pairing that included Ekong we for collect wotowotoporously for Cape Verde hand… Ajayi is decent but not top quality… Bassey still cant compete squarely against demon-strength and faced-paced African bullet attackers. The African attackers who play like they on demon-juiced exposed Akpoguma, Ekong, Balogun and Bassey in the past. This is the nations cup… wwe need people who wont become brittle like biscuits in the nations cup.
Hahahaha…..every time Omeruo and Ajayi helped us beat CPV away….Omeruo and Ajayi helped us beat CPV away….LMAOoo.
Somebody is dumbstuck on one match to fool himself….LMAOoo.
The number of matches Ekong helped us to win, so numerous we can’t count does not matter. Only the match against CPV, just one match is what he wants to use to push is fallacy.
In a qualification series where we won 4 matches and drew 1 out of 6, it was only one match (the 2nd in the series) that qualified us for the playoffs……LMAOoo. The other 3 we won (which includes 2 away from home) contributed nothing to our qualification……LMAOoo.
That’s from someone who is suprised no one takes him seriously nor wants to associate with him on this platform…..LMAOoo
The last time I checked, capeverde didn’t even defeat us in that qualifying series, the only team that was good and bold enough to defeat us, right on our soil was CAR, and when we played them away, Ekong was not just there in defence, we posted a clean sheet AND EKONG PROVIDED THE GAME WINNING ASSIST.
Not to forget Omeruo was leashed to the bench and persona non grated the moment Ekong made his way into the SE in 2015 reigned Supreme for donkey years as the other half of the strongest defensive wall weve had since 1994.
So please go and try harder in convincing yourself and confusing everyone else that “..had been in pairing that included Ekong we for collect wotowotoporously…”
It’s a fact that nobody break a sweat over Omeruo’s availability for SE matches…..that’s how “good” he is……LMAOoo
When a man throws away a dozen cattle because he wants to plead with a Guinea fowl for meat, just know the village witch doctor has some more intercession to make with the gods.
As good an analyst that Dr. Drey is, his childish tantrums leaves much to be desired..You don’t barrack, attack, ridicule and stereotype everyone who doesn’t share your opinion. Notable forumites like @HUSH, @GREENTURF, @DESTAR, @JIMMYBALL, @DEO, @CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES and many more I couldn’t readily recall their names don’t resort to mudslinging just cause people don’t share their opinions. At the end of the day, nobody here gets paid. Nobody here calls the shots.
Why am I writing this? I read with utter shock, bewilderment and disappointment your attack on @GREENTURF who everyone here will agree is known to almost always being ON THE SAME SIDE with you! All through the years of GERNOT ROHR, it was always GREENTURF, AYPHILLYDEGREAT(I used to think is same as you due to almost identical writing and cursing styles..lol), OAKFIELD, MONKEYPOST, TAYO etc
Caveat: I don’t know GREENTURF (I have had disagreements with him here too) but I have never read BIGOTRY in his posts.. During the elections, I recalled getting into a fight with the TRIBAL/ETHNIC BIGOTS; @UGO IWUNZE (even though we used to be on the same side during ROHR MUST GO..Lol), @CHIMA @OAKFIELD etc but GREENTURF never sided with either the OBI or TINUBU side. He wrote generally.
@JIMMYBALL is IDOMA and I don’t see him as BIGOT because he was chief advocate for JUNIOR AJAYI (a YORUBA)
I am HAUSA from Zuru but was against the invitation of SHEHU ABDULLAHI at the detriment of EBUEHI then.
I have written severally here that OMERUO and SEMI AJAYI have no business in Super Eagles if the NFF/PASEIRO can get TOSIN ADRABIOYO, SHAWN ADEWOYE, GABRIEL OSHO. CHIDOZIE AWAZIEM can complete the CB (4) OSHO looks stronger and aggressive than BASSEY imho.
Ah Abi O! Me I no send anybody from time immemorial O! Lol! You were making some sense until you said Omeruo and Ajayi has no business in the SuperEagles Lmao!! I can still understand Omeruo, but he’s an AFCON winner whose experience might be handy in some circumstances.
All these Adarabioyo, Osho, Adewoye and co may not be different than a certain Danny Shitu. I like Awaziem and he has duly got his call up back into the team. If I want a viable option to add something to our current defense it will be Igor Ogbu and Caleb Okoli (if he chooses Nigeria). Adarabioyo is not even playing regularly and he’s now 26. Abeg let him continue to wait for a call up from Northgate.
We have enough options in defense already. Once this team find a reliable goalkeeper they will be unstoppable in the next two AFCONS. I hope they win one at least. With all your tantrums against Rohr 80% of the team are still from his era.
Hahahaha…childish tantrums you say….??
Now let me show you what childish tantrums look like;
You were once Mahmud Shuaib and Musa Yahaya at the same time, until you were caught red handed and roundly disgraced on this platform…..that day was the last day “Musa Yahaya” commented on this forum……LMAooo
You were once a Kogi born Lagos bred person, a year later you became a Gobir (northern kebbi/Sokoto) born, Kaduna raised person. Today, another year later, you are from Zuru (southern Kebbi )…….LMAooo. Yea, I understand, liars tend to forget the lies they tell after a long while. The fact that you even refer to yourself as Hausa gives you out completely as a cheap liar. Nobody from Zuru is Hausa. Its like saying you are Ebira from Ekiti, or saying you are Tiv from Langtang. Nobody from Ekiti is Ebira, and nobody from Langtang is Tiv.
So when next you want to tell us lies here about your origin, be more creative about it. The fact that your origin migrates every year like fulani herdsmen is nauseating……LMAooo
Your childish tantrums of trying to fool everyone about who you are in order to ego trip yourself since nobody does that to you here is stale and leaves much more to be desired than my own childish tantrums in defending whatever I put out in public with facts and logic….we know who your are already and nobody is being fooled.
And by the way go back and read this thread and its context properly, is has nothing to do with who supported Rohr or did not. I don’t have any business with who supports who. Supporting Rohr does not make me inlaws or relative with anyone on this forum. And even if we were inlaws and you support bigotry or show signs of it, Im still gonna tell it to your face.
So hold your peace with your patronage and name dropping.
This discussion is all about those who fake nationalism and the love of the SE to pursue personal and sectional interests.
When old persons should be forcefully retired because “they are blocking the path of younger players” because it applies to only a certain breed of persons, but old decade-long fringe bystanders can be retained “even when they have been blocking the path of younger players for over 8 years” because it applies to a different breed of persons…it smirks off nothing but chauvinism.
For years now, the sight of the name of the likes of Jamilu Colins, Shehu Abdulahi, Ahmed Musa even on standby list of SE invites always make some people cringe, because according to them, they don’t offer anything other “younger” players cannot offer, but someone whom nobody bats an eyelid, nor miss in any way, whether he get invited or not, plays or not can continue to enjoy their goodwill because he won AFCON in 2013 and stopped being of any significant use to us after the 2014 world cup.
As far as this forum is concerned, it is within my rights to talk about it, no matter who wants to feel offended…..its their own headache. It is if I have said anything that is untrue that I have erred….which I challenge anyone to point out and be ready to defend it.
And I repeat my position, one which nobody has even contested so far, because its nothing but PURE FACT…..had it been it were to be a muslim northerner, a Kabir Oumar from Jigawa state, 30 yrs old and blowing hot and cold in national team colours, I am 1000% sure the tonality of these psuedo-altruists would be different.
What I have said, I have said….!
If it doesn’t please you, GO TO COURT….!!!
QED.
Another one spotted.
