Brazilian star Raphinha has bragged that the Seleção will overcome Argentina without Lionel Messi in action in tonight’s 2026 World Cup qualifying at the Estadio Mâs Monumental.
Brazil, currently in third place, trails Argentina, who sit at the top of the qualifying table by seven points.
In a chat with Romario, the Barcelona star stated that he’ll score a goal against Argentina.

“We are going to play against Argentina, our biggest rivals. Now, thank God, without Messi—are we going to beat them?” Romário asked.
“We will beat them, no doubt. On and off the pitch, if we have to,” Raphinha declared.
“Are you going to try to score against Argentina?” Romário pressed further.
“Yes, with everything,” Raphinha replied.
