Tennis world number one, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, are predicted to possibly meet in the semi-finals of the 2024 US Open.
This prediction emerged with the release of the collision course on Thursday, August 22, raising the prospect of a matchup between these two tennis titans.

According to ATP Tour, the last time Sinner and Alcaraz faced each other was during the 2022 US Open quarter-finals, where they battled late into the night for more than five hours before Alcaraz emerged victorious.
Alcaraz went on to win the trophy and become World No. 1 in the ATP Rankings.
If they meet at the US Open, it would be in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, the Italian will begin his campaign against American Mackenzie McDonald. They most recently met at last year’s Rolex Paris Masters, where Sinner prevailed in three sets.
Sinner’s path to the final, as outlined in the collision course, predicts he will face 2021 US Open champion Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-finals and Alcaraz in the semi-finals, in order to reach the final at the season’s last major.
