One of the studio analysts on super sports said south Africa were “tricked” to prepare against wing play by the dutch but they later used “through the middle”. I hope super falcons will be ready for “boastful” Lionesses?
EYAH one OUT!
TWO still IN!!
GOD HELP AFRICA!!!
You need to take your chances. SA had so many chances. Kgatlana had a great game. She was a thorn in the flesh of the Dutch defense. But she missed several chances. The Dutch however took the 2 good chances that came their way.
That Kgatlana girl is the real ‘agba baller’.
The Van Domselaar, Natherland’s goalkeeper was named man of the match just because of Thembi Kgatlana
The referee allowed some many hard play by the dutch to go unpunished and so SA lost 2 very influencial midfielders. Before then and the silly first goal that they gave away, it was an even contest. The dutch team was very physical instead of the other way round.Playing through the middle exposed SA defensive vulnerability and it does appears that their only strategy coming into the match was to heave long balls over the top down the channel for Kgalana to chase. It worked once or twice but obviously the dutch have perfected the drills on that. The combination passes that will unlock the dutch defense was lacking.Kgalana attracts 3 dutch defenders out wide but she was for the most part isolated upfront. The very influencial Maghai had a very subdued game.Ultimately it was a lack of bite in the final third and a fragile central defensive partnership that cost SA the game.
They played well their greatest undoing was not converting the clear cut chances they created. Captain Kaglana waisted a lots of their chances and their goalkeeper was another thing if only she can be as ruthless as that Dutch goal keeper the results would have been different. The Dutch goal keeper was fantastic, to me South Africa were the better team but in football results matter. Better luck next time now unto the big one on Monday morning lol.
I didn’t watch this Match however I am interested to know how much extra time was given in this match to allow SA chanve to equalise. Anybody recall the amount of added time?
SA is an African team on the losing side, don’t expect extra time. The conspiracy theory is very much alive.
Africans unite!!!!!!!!!.
Nigeria v England. Watch out very well. Many hearts will be broken, many will lose their bet tomorrow. Watch out tomorrow, many will smile to the bank. Tomorrow will be a day to remember. Far away people may not like on Monday.
People will say we are talkinh rubbish when we say FIFA and refs are biased towards African teams I saw the amount and raised the point to some pointless argumentative souls who knows themselves and argue for Argument sake. That game had More stoppages than Nigeria vs Australia or SA vs Italy yet only 3 mins extra time in first half and 4mins after 90mins. Yet some fools again who knows themselves will come and act intellectual and smart for no good reason. Just to create arguement.
Thanks @Godsate I agree with you there. However Nigeria I have a feeling will overcome
Simple arithmetic is so difficult for many people. That is how useless they are to humanity.
There were 2 injuries in the first half and 1 goal
In the 2nd half there were no injuries but 1 goal scored and 3 subs made.
Use your brain if you have one to multiply each event by 1 minute and sum it up
The best way to hide something from a black man is to put it in a book…!
Arsenal just defeated Man city after 11 minutes of injury time. Man city must be an African team. Or maybe EPL referees have started a conspiracy against Man City…..LMAOoo
Stupidity really has not medicine.
Advise a fool and he will call you foolish….!!!
When 9 minutes injury time was awarded in Japan vs Zambia match with Japan leading by 4 goals scores in the second half and 5 substitutions made, I guess it was because there was conspiracy against Japan…..LMAooo or the referees wanted Zambia to equalize…..LMAOoo
Or when Canada vs Ireland game went almost 10 minutes into injury time it was because there was conspiracy against Canada because they have black players….LMAoo
Common sense is indeed not common.
If in the Nigeria vs England game, we make 5 second half substitutions and England makes 5 2nd half subs too and say 2 goals are scored in that same 2nd half, expect nothing less than 8 -10 minutes of injury time. If you like bite trees and cry blue murder till the end of time.
Just have we now have robots and sensors determining offside and goals now, we now also have sensors calculating the actual amount of time the ball is in play.
Conspiracy my foot…..!!! LAMOoo
No wonder Africa is so poor in almost every facet of life…! When people are too mentally lazy to investigate why and how some things come into existence, why wont they remain poor all their lives…..LMAooo
LMAO…
Nigerians are just dreaming a big time dreams. They never want to wake up from there dreams. The match that has already been decided in the favor of England. Is like you guys don’t see the hand writing on the wall. There’s no way Nigeria is beating England team come tomorrow.
My issue right now is not only South Africa loss to the Netherlands, but the injury my girlfriend Jermaine Seoposenwa (no 12) sustained. If i see that Dutch player that injured her, i will give her a dirty slap.
