Congrants to the boys. What I like most the team is their defensive organization. I don’t know how super Eagles can learn from this . Or can we draft Bosson into Super Eagles to assist Peisero with special focus on building the SE sloppy defence.
Nigerian has started again.
It was a good game. The game plan was clear from the go, absorb the Italian press, hit them on the counter. Kudos to the defence for doing their job and the coach for making the right subs.
We could have scored more if only we were clinical. Brazil next for the grabs
No rather to take Peseiro’s job..
While many here criticized Bosso i have always had his back because his teams play impressive football and i like how he sets up his wards, sometimes i can’t undertand why he’s so heavily criticized.
Meanwhile,Bosso is a disciplinarian who takes his job seriously, his boys are fit and tenacious.
He has his eyes on the super eagles job!Peseiro be on the lookout!
Awesome, at last there’s something to celebrate about Nigerian football, kudos to the boys
When Bosson said he learned some lessons in his previous stint with the Flying Eagles, I did not take him seriously but seeing how he played the very dangerous Italians today, I am beginning to take a second look at him.
Good display today, please the real deal has just begun.
Brazil must fall. Nigeria has talents.
The team showed a very good defensive solidity and I must confess that they played coordinated football which I was not expecting from Bosso. They just need to work more on their sloppy passes and creative midfield area
The boy’s really made us proud today. Kudos to the gaffer
Congratulations boys. I knew you were gonna do it even though some didn’t believe u could. Everything has to do with the mind. Nobody is greater than you unless u think otherwise. The battle of the mind determines the fate of your actions. U believed u could beat them and your actions interpreted it precisely. I hope @talkyourown can now come and swallow his vomit. Keep your heads high, the job is not yet done until u lift the cup. Remember, as u advance, the contest gets tougher and tighter. All the best!!!
Oakfield, you asked them to avenge the 1994 defeat, and they did.
Yes, Pompeii my man. I’m so happy. E remain our senior team to take their own pond of flesh….
Pls, for your information, do not entertain calls from tinubu and buhari. Please!!!!!! They should keep their evil and devilish calls to themselves…..
I’m really impressed with the calmess, ball handling and distribution of the GK. He’s got hood height but can still work on his reflexes.
The team showed compact defence, tactical midfield, and fast wingers. It’s just the striking position that needs some polishing. The guys from Crystal palace and Arsenal could have strengthened the attack.
Well, Bosso understands better.
Yes, I don’t know why he dropped the young man from the Crystal Palace which is my blood brother because he is very good which I have been seeing that since when Ademola was year one. Anyway, he could play for England in the future.
Have you seen them play? even for there feeder team, please leave the coach alone to pick the boys he wants and lets stop hyping players we don’t even know. Football isn’t about which club you play for.
Congratulations to our national U20 side and their coaching staff!
This is a talented side. The additions have upped the talent-level.
Fans shouldn’t fret about some of these foreign-born players snubbing us. We do have very talented Nigerian-born players. Our major problem over the years have been our inability to nurture them properly.
Our mid-field have let us down in games in the immediate past. Going forward, I suggest we place emphasis on nurturing these players from this current U20 team and the WAFU B u17 team.. Ebube Duru, Raphael Oyebanjo, Victor Eletu, Tochukwu Nnadi and Daniel Daga and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro should form the core of our next senior national team midfield. Alhassan Yusuf and one or two others that may be discovered should also be included.
We should please desist from begging the Eberechi Ezes, Bakayo Sakas, Michael Olises of the world to play for us. They are certainly not more talented than our Nigerian players. All they have is access to better youth coaching.
Well done boys
Naija making history wow
Congrats to u guys! Enjoy
Self made, we see your break light today! Hahahaha!
It’s a new world record. The first time Nigeria won a match in football and Self Made showed up, and wonder of wonders, actually offered congratulations!
Do not be deceived @pompei, e dy pain him deep down inside there o …..hahahaha…just watch and see wetin go happen if we happen to get an unfavorable result (God forbid)…..hahaha….that guy na chameleon..
Hahaha!
Am not like u lol
For me football is a game and I don’t even take it serious like u do
Congrats and enjoy the victory
You don’t take football serious just alleviate your pain because it’s not Ghana but the day Nigeria will loose you’ll know how to condemn wing play no be today yash dey back!!!
Credit must also be given to the defence line of Fredrick and ogwuche against a cocky Italian team. This was Bosso’s best performance as a coach for a long time and I hope he keeps doing it this way. For the Italian team I tip them to make it all the way to last 4 because they’re well skilled and will learn from this defeat. Daga and Fredrick is the future of team Nigeria Super Eagles it’s been a long time we won a top team I hope we can sleep well today. On the other side of the world Nigeria also humbled Togo 6-0… it’s a beautiful days for us!!!
@Chima E Samuels the recently assembled falconets are a world beater the talent level is mind-boggling!
Christopher Danjuma has been consistent in his performance and I hope the team will continue to improve because this is just Wafu.
Ladan Bosso has suddenly become everybody’s sweet heart.
Some are even asking for him to be drafted to the SE. The same coach that was considered tactically clueless yesterday. The scene of the world continues to change.
Could the stone that was rejected become the head of the corner? Could the much maligned Bosso become the coach to finally bring the elusive U-20 world cup to Nigeria? It’s still early days yet, but SO FAR SO GOOD. 2 wins out of 2 matches is excellent indeed. CONGRATS!
Word of caution: please beware and remain focused. Learn from the mistake of the SE at the last Afcon, who won their first 3 matches, only to go belly up against a covid depleted Tunisia. Stay focused!
The people asking him to be drafted to Eagles are getting too emotional because I will not even consider that until he achieves the ultimate and consistently proves himself to be honest. I’m not one of those I just have to be honest but as for yesterday’s match he has really done well!!!
Well said@Pompei, stay humble and focus.
Word of caution!!!
One game at a time. The coaches and the players should not be thinking of the finals before they play second round. They should treat every game like a cup final. Stay humble and remain focus
Congratulations to Ebenezer Akinsanmiro for winning his first trophy (Coppa Italia)
I wish Victor Eletu quick recovery. Nigeria are yet to see the best of this guy. What a Fantastic footballer!!!
Italian mafias saw him as a pain in the ass and took him out without getting caution by the racist officials. May God have mercy on Blackman!!!
Let us be mindful of this early excitement because we have seen this over and over again only to be caught napping. I pray the boys and coach will know that this is only the beginning because there’s something called knock out and most of the people here singing will not hesitate to cast the stone if anything goes wrong including me.
Still not convinced but that performance is a start. If this team shows some consistency as the tournament progresses then I’ll take back my criticism of Bosso and his boys.
