Monaco winger, Krepin Diatta has reiterated that Senegal have the quality players to withstand some of the biggest teams at the 2022 World Cup.
Senegal are in Group A of the 2022 FIFA World Cup together with Qatar, Ecuador and the Netherlands.
Diatta stated this in a chat with africanews.com, where he said that the team will do everything possible to deliver the best for their country.
“We won’t hide from the fact that we know we have a good team, with players in each position,” africanews.com quoted Diatta as saying.
“Now it is the World Cup, the biggest competition so we won’t hide and we will give everything to play a great tournament. I think this is what we have to do.
“There are so many good teams overall, and we will have to be ready from the start and do everything to make it out of this group.
“We should not say that we are supposed to qualify from this group, it would be a mistake because we have to play and stay focused on it, and I think if we do that and then we have a chance to qualify.”
