Tunisia coach, Jalel Kadri has been lamenting the Carthage Eagles’ defeat to the Socceroos of Australia in their second Group D match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Tunisia lost 1-0 to Australia on Saturday, November 26 at the Al Janoub Stadium.
Mitchell Duke scored in the 23rd minute to give the Australians all three points in the fixture.

Kadri told reporters that his team couldn’t utilise their chances in the second half.
“We lacked the final touch and weren’t realistic,” Reuters quoted Kadri as saying.
“The performance in the first half was not up to expectations and we did not create many chances. The situation changed in the second half and we created several chances but we failed to put the ball in.”
Tunisia are third in Group D with one point after two games.
The Carthage Eagles play France next on Wednesday, November 30.
