The Ministry of Sports and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) jointly bought 20,000 tickets for Abuja fans, ahead of Tuesday’s 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs between the Super Eagles and the Black Stars of Ghana.
Fans are to get the tickets in the designated bus closest to their locations while boarding the free bus that has also been made available.
Twenty-four locations have been set aside where fans are expected to pick up their ticket for the crucial game at the MKO Abiola in Abuja.
Among the pick-up locations are Keffi, Suleja, Area 3, Kuje, Lugbe, Eagles Square and Gwagwalada.
Other pick-up locations are Gwarinpa, Zuba, Nyanya, Kubwa, old parade ground and Maraba.
The Eagles will be looking to secure a first win against Ghana since their 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Since then, their last four games against the Black Stars have been three defeats and one draw.
While the Black Stars are targeting a fourth World Cup appearance, the Eagles are eyeing a Seventh outing.
The coach Austine Eguavoen-led side must win while a score draw will do for the Black Stars.

BUT ANYWAY THAT IS NOT A WELCOME DEVELOPMENT TO ME. IT IS THEIR DUTIES TO DO IT. BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT IF IT IS POLITICAL ELECTION, WE ALL KNOW HOW THEY BUY BAGS OF RICE AND SHARE TO PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN A STATE IN ORDER TO WIN ELECTION. AND BY CALCULATION, THE TOTAL POPULATION OF PEOPLE IN LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN A STATE IS MORE THAN 60,000-CAPACITY OF ABUJA STADIUM.
** AND BY COMPARISON, HOW MUCH IS TICKET PER ONE FANS AND HOW MUCH IS BAG OF RICE PER ONE PERSON.

We alwsys open a door for fraud, corrution and conflict in Nigeris! Why not give tickets to the first 20 000 fans at the turnstiles, as they enter the stadium to avoid people reselling tickets in the city at exorbitant prices and causing delay and disorder? We never use brains to manage things in this country!

If not for insecurity in the north, Kano state would have been a better place to host this game. Na dia fans dey climb tree and scoreboard to watch a match. Ghana for see the one way senior biatie.
The same Kano state that we lost the 2006 WC ticket at?
You want to carry Oyinbo pikins to the harsh weather of Kano?
Calvin Bassey is already complaining and you want to add salt to injury?
Honestly, we should commend nff for this free buses.. Nigerians like free things so I expect a massive crowd tomorrow…
This reminds me of the covid pallatives discovered in different parts of Nigeria and the number of persons who came out to have their share.. Nigeria the most populated country in Africa is sharing free ticket. I pity for Ghana tomorrow, because the crowd they will see tomorrow will scare them…
Our Abuja brothers and sisters storm the stadium in your numbers, let us intimidate this Ghanaian team.. success to the boys
