The Super Eagles arrived Abuja from Kumasi in the early hours of Saturday, after holding the Black Stars to a goalless draw in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs, Completesports.com reports.
In a video clip published on NFF TV, players and officials were seen disembarking from Air Peace airline at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
Up next for the coach Austine Eguavoen-led team is the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Tuesday.

The Eagles need an outright win against the Black Stars to qualify for a seventh World Cup.
While a win or a score draw will be enough for the Black Stars to make a fourth appearance at the World Cup.
Friday’s result means the Eagles are yet to beat their eternal rivals since a 1-0 in at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
It would be recalled that the Eagles secured qualification to the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan, after thrashing the Black Stars 3-0 in Port Harcourt.

Weldone Boys for the decent job done in Ghana inspite of all the intimidation from hostile crowd and people of Ghana.
Welcome home to Abuja and I wish you luck on Tuesday for a win against the boisterous and boastful black stars.
Couch Eguavoen should beef up th SE Midfield to match the Black stars numbers and superiority in that area. Play Akinkunmi Amoo or atleast bring him from the bench and revert to 4-4-2 system ,if Wing system is not working.
Great job guys, moving forward Eguaveon should pls bench iheanacho and chukwueze, let’s Etebo, Onyeka and Aribo combo in the midfield.
They have see us finished from nation cup. No plan B.All we have is wing play.
Must we always play wing play? Our wingers are all out of form, let’s invite less wingers now and focus on midfield,it’s becoming embarrassing watching super eagles running around the field without making decent passes, our wingers are easily marked out,NFF should get us a new coach after this, eguavoen cannot do it.,I have lost confidence in him
No two matches are the same in football. Execution is also different depending on the purpose, time, weather, location , situation and what the match is for. For me it is better to play ugly and get desired result than to play handsomely and lose. I believe the coach and the crew had a good match plan playing a neighbor with similar weather, tactics and psychology. Be warned that the return leg will not be easy because of the above points, At this moment a goal is hard to come by. Check other centers match results almost 1-0 or 1-1. Luck can make the difference because skill alone does not win matches in contemporary football world.
EQUAVOEN SHOULD BE CAREFUL AND NOT TO BE CARRIED-AWAY BY MOSES SIMON DRIBBLING. MOSES SIMON WAS DRIBBLE SUCCESSFULLY AGAINST MINORITY GUINEA-BISSAO IN AFCON.
** EQUAVOEN SHOULD TRY TO GIVE AMAO, LOOKMAN CHANCE AGAINST GHANA IN ABUJA.
Dribbling? or lack of it? I don’t know what the insistence on wing play is when You can’t get away from your marker.
EQUAVOEN SHOULD NOT USE EGO AS A MEANS OF SELECTING PLAYERS. MOSES UPLIFT HIS GAME IN AFCON JUST BECAUSE HE DOESN’T WANT TO BE BENCH BY UPCOMING FUTURE PLAYERS. IS NOT THAT MAY HE WAS EXTRAORDINARY ON THE FIELD OF PLAY LIKE THAT. HE ONLY DRIBBLING SUCCESSFULLY AGAINST MINORITY GUINEA-BISSAO IN AFCON. EJUKE CAN DRIBBLE MORE PLAYERS SUCCESSFULLY MORE THAN HIM (2020 friendly match against Tunisia can confirm this).
PRESENTLY THERE ARE MORE BETTER PLAYERS THAT CAN DRIBBLE SUCCESSFULLY AND SCORE GOALS EASILY THAN MOSES SIMON.
*** EQUAVOEN SHOULD PLEASE GIVE CHANCE TO AMAO, LOOKMAN, EJUKE, DESSERS IN SUPER EAGLE. THESE PLAYERS HAVE GREAT POTENTIALS TO PERFORM WELL IN SUPER EAGLE.
We thank God that our brothers have arrived safely.
The rivalry battle will continue on Tuesday for WC qualification.
Wow…as usual all manner of opinions. These super eagles are brave. They contained Ghana in Kumasi. Played a controlled game and will get the job done in the first 45mins in Abuja. Thereafter will come the issue of top rate technical input to help the team compete and make serious impact in Qatar. Go Super Eagles.
As soon as the line-up was made official on this platform yesterday, MAJORITY of the fans KNEW it would be a rough road for the Eagles. Many people criticized the inclusion of Iheanacho in the midfield. Lo and behold, they were right! The game was rough for the Eagles due to Eguavoen’s suspicious selection. So, please don’t just call these comments “all manner of opinions”. The fans know at least 80% of what is lacking in the team.
