Black Stars of Ghana midfielder Elisha Owusu has expressed confidence over the Black Stars’ chances of defeating the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the qualifying play-offs for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Owusu, who plays for Gent in the Belgian Jupiler, admitted the game against the Eagles would be tough but maintained confidence of a positive result for the Black Stars.
“Every player wants to play in the World Cup.
“It’s a big game and we know it will be hard but we are Ghana,” Owusu told reporters at the Kotoka Airport in Ghana.
“But we are hopeful and will do everything to be at the World Cup.

Asshole
Are u talking about ur nasty kids
U bloody Nigerian swine lol
Shut up
Bro don’t let these Nigerians make you lose focus. I agree u want to respond to their insults but sometimes just let things slide. It’s football we are interested in. After the two games we will leave their platform for them to debate how they lost badly against ghana. Pls tone down. Or better still insult them in twi for us to laugh. At least they won’t understand for it to cause any problems
Lol…. Bro we ll teach these thieving criminals a bitter lesson in Kumasi lol
so i now know why they refused to bring out their list…and it makes sense now…because they are gonna be playing a 3-5-2 formation.choke the midfield and use the wing backs to stretch the midfield and defense while they cut supply to our strikers…hmmm makes sense now they only way we can counter is to have the same formation or play 4-4-2…they will come at us with everything and attack with everything it,s gonna be a game of tactics not skills or form…they will try to outnumber us in every department….this is why they did not bring out their list and studied ours to play against our weakness we are gonna need hard working midfielders and that can bypass the midfield of the ghanain team fast forwards to unsettle the defense when we get the ball ighalo and oshimen to strike aribo, bonke and etebo in the midfield. 4-2-3-1…this game will be difficult…if we have a gud plan we will beat them well.
U can even field the whole chickens, we are eating the chicken wings lol
Super chickens!! Suoer chickens lol
It will be settled on the pitch…not here.may the best represent our continent.
I don’t really know what’s really wrong with this little nation making noise up and down thinking they will defeat the super eagles… I pity all these noise makers…
They need to console themselves b4 the storm
What is the size of CAR who beat u convincingly at home? If football is about size, then China, India or Nigeria would be world champions every time. What have u achieved with your size? You get beaten by the so called little nation every time. There must be something wrong with the Nigerian nation. Don’t u think so?
Convincingly? CAR won by a long ball late into the game. Why didn’t they win the second leg? The super eagles won’t underrate Ghana the way they underrated CAR, they’ll play you guys the way they played Egypt in the AFCON.
Truthfully, the Black stars aren’t better than the Egyptian team that the eagles outplayed at AFCON.
All these countries always making mouth before a game have always been beaten by the super eagles.
Those countries that have beaten Nigeria were those that stayed humble till the last day.
Even Cape Verde boasted more than the Ghanaians and they got beaten in their backyard.
The focus should be on your team that couldn’t win any match in the AFCON.
Ghana Must Go Again
Hmm! This man don rely on their juju.
Fear dey cash Ghana people
