The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick has charged the Super Eagles to go all out and defeat Liberia in the first match of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, assuring that they will be guaranteed their bonus if they start on a winning note.
Pinnick, who met with the Super Eagles players and coaching crew ahead of the match scheduled for the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Friday, said the NFF and the senior players in the team will hold a meeting on Thursday to review their World Cup bonuses.
He disclosed that talks were underway to guarantee the welfare of the team to ensure the boys focus on the task ahead.
“I like the spirit in the camp and this is the spirit to qualify for the World Cup,” Pinnick said.

“I will be sitting down with the leaders of the team to discuss the World Cup bonus. We must qualify for the World Cup. You win on Friday and you get your bonus.”
Pinnick also revealed that talks are ongoing with an unnamed insurance company to insure the players.
“We have an insurance deal we are working on, about N17m per player. Once you are in the Eagles you have insurance.”
“We are not just looking at finance but the value in kind that will enhance you talk less and act more on the pitch. I’m very proud of you guys; we fight, argue but importantly we settle,” the Nigerian football chief said.

Perhaps it is time to start thinking about hiring a professional OSHOMALO to go to the NFF office and SIT DOWN WITH THEM, LOOKING THEM EYE TO EYE, until they pay up.
Oshomalos worldwide, please send in your bids! We will be contacting the winning bid shortly!
This man is rude. What a way to talk. Nonesense. I never knew this pinnick is this rude.
He sounded the same way a clerk sounds at a beer parlour the day after payday….pompous and self-important.
These people have no shame. Tufia….!!!
Pinnick is fraudster, talking like he owns him, he owes everybody money. I dont know how the players could still show up
Can someone please convince me NFF were not “deliberately” withholding this team’s emoluments all these while…? Can a good Samaritan please assist me with 5 good reasons why I shouldnt believe NFF had money to pay these boys in these past 2 years but intentionally didn’t pay them in order to force disability and poor results on the team…for y’all know why.
Of course they knew they could risk not qualifying for AFCON…so they can sacrifice AFCON qualification to get their adversary out of the way…..but they cant risk not qualifying for world cup….because their entire board will get sacked if that happens.
Or how else can one quantify this sudden braggado, chest pumping, arrogance, raising of shoulders and availability of money, so much so, they are even talking about increment in bonuses.
From which heavens did money suddenly start pouring down unto the laps of Amaju Pinnick and his people..?
Please let make our super eagles a good brand so that it will be attractove to foreign nigerian footballer
