Black Stars head coach Otto Addo will submit his squad for the 2022 World Cup playoff against perennial rivals Nigeria this week.
According to Ghanasoccernet.com, Addo has decided on the players he needs for the qualifiers.
The former midfielder will submit the list to the Ghana Football Association for approval on Thursday before an announcement is made.
The squad is expected to be dominated by players who took part in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations where the Black Stars exited in the first round.
Captain Andre Ayew will miss both legs of the qualifiers through suspension following his red card in the Black Stars’ last game against Comoros.
Ghana will host the first leg on March 25 at the Cape Coast Stadium, with the reverse fixture scheduled for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja four days later.
