Idoko took to her personal Twitter handle to express disappointment over the Falconets’ quarter-final exit.
“Trying hard to banish memories of our #U20 WWC exit. We fought hard, we wanted to be in the final and make title history but wasn’t to be. Not happy to leave now but still grateful for the huge experience and many lessons learned from this outing. To Nigerians, I thank you all,” Idoko Tweeted.
Idoko played all four games for the Falconets at the tournament and recorded one assist.
The Falconets have participated in all editions of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Do worry if I was ur coach u will be in the final … I would have told u not to attack all through the games.
I would have thought u how to break down a team that plays defensive football using YouTube analysis.
And how to stop counter attack. As I watched the game I saw ur Coach urging you to attack attack attack. I got afraid everytime I saw this and my mind was like. Wat if a long ball breaks into ur defence. These are ladies that can make mistake or fall down on the ball.no wonder those oyinbo girls no the tricks before coming to the field to play u . still in the 2nd half u attack attack attack I had to off my set but 90 mins I struggle to watch the reminder of the game . But no changes in the teams method… Anyway I wil advice nff to make sure dey buy laptop or smartphone and load data for their coaches so that when a match is going on the way dey don’t expect. They can easily find the solution on u tube as the game is goin on while dey are on the side line of the pitch . instead of waiting or blaming for absence of video assistant coach.
One Kim or whatever he calls himself came on this platform and was shouting “developmental tournament” as if we do not know that the competition is developmental. May I remind him of what the Brazilian goalkeeper Barbieri said on FIFA+ “We are desperate to win a first title for Brazil” Ndi developmental tournament.
You are so right. The Falconets should have done better.
