The Super Sand Eagles have been drawn in Group A alongside Morocco, hosts country Mozambique and debutant Malawi ahead of the 2022 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations, Completesports.com reports.
The draw was held on Friday and will see eight teams participate.
Group A has champions Senegal, Uganda, former champions Madagascar and Egypt.
The Sand Eagles will be making their 10th appearance at this year’s Beach Soccer AFCON which will run from 21st to 30th October in Vilankulo, Mozambique.
Among the eight countries that will take part at this year’s edition only Senegal, Nigeria and Madagascar have been crowned champions.

The winner and runners-up at the 2022 Beach Soccer AFCON will qualify for the 2023 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
