Every member of the Super Eagles squad tested negative to coronavirus as they get set to face Sierra Leone today in Freetown.
This was disclosed by the team’s media officer Babafemi Raji.
The test was carried out on the players as they arrived the airport in Sierra Leone on Monday.
It would be recalled that the players were tested in Nigeria and all came out negative.
Meanwhile, Sierra Leone FA president Isha Johansen paid a visit to the Eagles after their team walk.
Johansen tendered an unreserved apologies for the inconveniences the team experienced on arrival at the airport on Monday.
The Leone Stars will be looking to record a first win against the Eagles since a 1-0 win in 2001 in Freetown.
A win for the Eagles will take them to 10 points and remain top in Group L.
