Europa League: Osimhen Sent Off In Napoli’s Win At Sociedad; Olayinka’s Goal Secures Win For Slavia Prague vs Leverkusen

Victor Osimhen was sent off in Napoli’s 1-0 win at Real Sociedad, in their Group F Europa League game, Completesports.com reports.

Osimhen, who came on in the 61st minute, was shown a second yellow card in two minutes of added time.

He was adjudged to have raised his elbow on Sociedad’s Le Normand when he jumped for the ball.

He had the ball in the net on 86 minutes, but it was disallowed, because Mario Rui slipped on the free kick and touched it with both feet, effectively neutralising the set play.

Napoli’s goal was scored by Matteo Politano in the 56th minute which was their first after two games played.

The Serie A club are on three points and occupy third position in the group.

In Group C, Nigerian forward Peter Olayinka was the hero for Slavia Prague who beat visiting Bayer Leverkusen 1-0.

Olayinka netted the only goal of the game with 10 minutes left for Slavia League’s first win in the group.

Leverkusen were reduced to 10 men following the sending off of Karim Bellarabi in the 22nd minute.

Slavia Prague are third on three points, same points as the other three clubs in the group.

In Scotland, Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo featured for Rangers who edged Lech Poznan 1-0 in Group D.

While Balogun played for 90 minutes, Aribo came on in the 69th minute.

A 68th minute goal by Alfredo Morelos secured the win for Rangers which was their second in the group.

They are second on six points and are behind group leaders Benfica also on six points.

Other results saw Molde pipped Rapid Wien 1-0 with Norwegian-born Nigerian forward Ohi Anthony Omoijuanfo scoring, Arsenal thrashed Dundalk 3-0 and Granada, without Ramon Azeez, held to a goalless draw at home by PAOK.

To Olayinka and other great players that are currently performing against strong oppositions but are not getting the recognition and invitation to the National Team, it’s really unfortunate that the SE is handled by a gaffer who is not sincere and transparent with his invitation, hence struggling to provide us with a reliable first eleven after more than 4years of leading the team.
A coach that settles for underperforming players in big games at the expense proven big game players (Olayinka vS Onwuach, Maja vS Desser, Dennis vS Kalu ). The total minutes of action of a combination of Olayinka, Maja and Dennis is ridiculous and condescending.
A world class coach that left his most active and best performing goal keeper out of a team. He even has the guts to place non active Ezenwa on standby..
I know some of the blind followers of World Class GR may want to fight back, my observation is open to discussion.
I know you guys like to talk about record but the fact is that your world coach GR has a master known as Belmadi. Within two years of taking charge, Belmadi has transformed the Algerian national team to not only the Champion but the team with one of the best records in World football.
If GR fails to win the ANC as stipulated in his contract, I hope someone will not start giving us some craps about close to the WC (pray we qualify) because Belmadi had about 6 months to put the Algerian team together and the rest of the success story is well-documented. The Algerian national team does not have better players than us but they have an honest, dedicated and more technical management team.
I hope DFW and other agents of darkness that are exploring the weaknesses in nff management get exposed and cleansed out asap.
So many fraudulent activities in our national set-up.

If you like you can go and change your nationality to Algeria and become their chief supporter. Lmao!!! Good luck with your new nationality.

Hahahaha…the people who were happy and rejoicing that they have score 4/5 = 90% when NFF “INSISTED” they must be having “INPUTS” in the SE lists are now coming back to lament….LMAO. Una sorrows never start. Many are your afflictions till when this contract is reviewed….LMAO

Ohhh broda man Drey, a big thumbs up for that. It’s really strange how people can’t see that that list must have been influenced by the top brass. I don’t need Rohr to tell me anything, I can see clearly the hands of NFF/ all those fighting against Rohr in that list.

Hahahaha….dont mind dem biko. They want a stable XI after 4 years….Maybe we should call back Echiejile, Mikel, Ighalo, Ideye, Moses, Ogu and the rest of them all….LMAO. Even the few from 2016 that are left, they want them kicked out…they want Musa out (despite being one of few stand-out performers in our last match and a constant consistent performer in the SE consistently for years), they want omeruo out, they want simon out, they want shehu out, they want Akpeyi out, they want this out and that out…yet they want a stable XI…LMAO. I dont know which team in the world currently has the same stable/starting XI they had in 2016…LMAO. Yet every player that scores a goal in Europe will be clamoured for….Once Rohr doesn’t invite them, Rohr becomes their enemy….but they need a stable XI…LMAO. When the coach maintained a stable team for a while, they cried that the coach does not create competition, yet they want a stable XI. Now that every jack and harry is getting invitation, they turn around to complain that the coach does not have a stable XI…LMAO. Confused people don’t know what they want….one minute they want a stable XI, another minute any player that scores in the weekend must be invited for the next game….LMAO…and when the team eventually puts up a disjointed display they still cry…LMAO. Their hatred confuses them more than the confusion that is confusing their confusion….LMAO

Hahaha haha. OMG. You wanna kill me with laugh. We Nigerians are a bunch of confused people. This is simply the reason, we can’t have a good honest government. Because for a Nigerian, the government is only good as long as its decision making satisfies our own personal problems, not minding how others suffer from such decisions. We cant even allow a good Government settle down and carry out any meaningful/genuine development. Was Idiagbon removal/ death not celebrated by vast majority? Nigerians hated him because he was getting us to do things right. Infact the majority went wide with jubilation welcoming the most corrupt government ever, the IBB government that opened the flood gate of corruption in nigeria. Sadly albeit not surprised, IBB is still celebrated today Lolzz. SELF INTEREST SELF INTEREST, ONE OF THE VIRUSES DESTROYING NIGERIA. We can call Buhari ala Rohr names for all I care, but with this mentality, it’s always gonna be 1 step forward and multiple steps backward.

But nothing we can do to stop this so called dictatorship in our NFF,we just have to support any player on the pitch and always pray for a win against any team.
